Smelly, Crowded, and Loud

My roommate and I lived there for 1 year. It's a good location--walking distance from K-Mart and right off of Nicholasville. When I say loud, it's not the traffic, but the neighbors. You can hear EVERYTHING--stereos, tvs, even water running. Plus, we lived on the second floor, and we CONSTANTLY smelled things from the other apartments--we called our bathroom the "garlic room" because evidently our neighbors below us cooked with a lot of garlic. There's also a lot of ethnic cooking going on and usually the entire hallway would reek of grossness. There were kids running around all the time, people in the parking lot all the time... I would not recommend this apartment to anyone, unless you need something relatively cheap and you don't plan on staying long. Another thing: I was getting married and told the office ONE MONTH ahead of time that we were moving out. The office lady pointed out fine line in the contract of a required TWO months notice--even though we only signed a ONE YEAR'S lease and we were moving out at the end of it anyway. We were forced to pay an extra month's rent--EVEN THOUGH WE WEREN'T LIVING THERE!!!! The place has laundry facilities, a pool (though we never went--too crowded), plenty of parking, a tennis court... but to me, STILL NOT WORTH IT.
