My wife and I rented from Pennington when we first moved to Kentucky. I believe that the apartment and the staff were fine. Every time we had an issue it was resolved in a timely fashion. The buildings are older so you have to expect situations to come up. The one thing though is that most people think their issue should take priorty over all others. There are only so many people that work there that they cant jump on all issues at once. There were situations with heating, those problems were out of Leighs and the staffs reach, they had to wait on contractors to come and fix the problem, thus being older buildings. For the most part the people I saw griping the most were also the ones that were late all the time with rent. I know at times there were issues that arose that didnt get handle when a tenant wanted it done. But to blame Leigh and the staff is the wrong way of dealing with it. I suggest that you meet Leigh and the staff, and view the apartments. One other note the reason they were asking people to move from one side to the other is that they are totally renovating. The ones that got the option were ones that paid their rent and the ones who got asked to move probably were those that were always late on there rent. The reason my wife and I dont live there anymore is because we moved here from out of state and needed a place until we bought a house. aww how cute...Leigh tried to put a good review on here. Oh, don't blame "Leigh and the staff". It's not their fault. The fact is, management, that pennington place is a hell hole and it doesn't matter whose fault it is. It matters that all these problems exist and you're right, the staff can't F-ing handle it! How would this person know if the people who had problems were late with their rent? Because it's the MANAGEMENT that's written this review! Nice try. Better luck next time, "Leigh and the staff".

I have to agree that things USED TO be good, but it is complete crap now... I just moved out and instantly my health improved (and I am 27)... there is so much mold and dust, it is crazy. I think that if you and your wife went back to Pennington Place today, you would be shocked at how fast it went down hill... they are going to tear it down in the next year, so they are not maintaining the apartments...
