You don't get anything near what you pay for...

I'll just jump right in...
1) Parking = Horrid, worse now (if that is possible) since the clubhouse has burned down. Hardly any towing is enforced. If you work late, expect to park a good distance from your apartment, if you can park at all.
2) Maintenance = Poor. I like the guys too, but they prefer a quick fix rather than a permanent fix. I have 2 doors that have fallen off their hinges and will not stay on, even after "repair". Not to mention tiles falling out of the shower walls and the bath tub peeling its baked on surface for the second time.
3) Construction = Poor and old. The apartments are old. They could use some sprucing up. The kitchen cabinets are of poor quality. Insultation is poor - your heating bills will be high. Looks like the place has been painted all the same color, counters and all. I will not speculate on the fire that burnt down the clubhouse, but with the way that the laundry room was kept and as old as the place is, I'm not surprised. I have faulty outlets too.
4)Noise = Fair to Moderate. The noise depends on if you live below someone with kids, or if you are next to that one person that parties way to much. Keep in mind, this can happen anywhere you live.
5)Grounds, = Not Great. I have a mud pit in front of my apartment. Not all the apartments are like this. Some have grass. Some have wood chips. I lived with a rotting porch for 2 years also, but after much asking, it was finally repaired. With what they have to work with though, they manage to keep it fairly clean.
6) Safety, = Horrible. This is quite a touchy subject. Pinebrook has a severe peeping-tom problem. If you ask them, there is no problem. However, if you ask for a report from the cops of how many times they have been out just for reports of peeping-tom's, it's quite a different story. So many times in fact, that the police themselves have asked Pinebrook to put up lights behind apartments. Still Pinebrook has not done this. I know that police have caught 2 peeping-tom's on the premises. Personally, I have called the police 3 or 4 times. Go ahead and check with the police department. I sure am with wherever I consider moving in the future.
7)Office Staff = Pleasant, but not so great. Turnover at Pinebrook is very high. Since I have lived here, there have been at least 6 different office personnel. Only the Apartment manager has been consistent. They are not the most organized office either. If you need the clubhouse, scheduling can be a problem. Office staff often manage to slip out an hour early making it inconvienent for people.
To sum it up, the rent that Pinebrook charges is not worth what they offer. I give it a VERY POOR REVIEW.
