I lived there Sept 2008 til June 2009 and lost everything I owned because they have found 16 untils out there with bed bugs. Work orders is not done like they should be cause maint. was always run to do other things in other things when the ones renting the apartments should of had work orders done before anything else. One tenant there has a hole n her ceiling still from the ice storm unless they have fixed in last week. Dont see that happening because they keep tellin the tenant there going to be there and never show up. I agree they do try and put charges on you when you have always paid rent on time and in full. I know of 3 familes that moved because when u tell the manager that u have bed bugs and it gets sprayed 3 til no tellin when later. By then everything is lost because maint. men and pest control company said office didnt have money to have them sprayed. Grass also got very high and its because maint. men said lawn company hadnt been paid so therefore grass had to wait til company paid lawn company.

I have lived at the Preakness for many years and have not had a problem. I really like to new company that is running the place. The Preakness had had a bad name for a long time and now that someone really care about what is happening the name will change. People expect things to change in a day and that is not going to happen.

I agree, there have been a lot of noticeable improvements. The people running this place now obviously had a lot of work before them and they are taking care of things as fast as they can. I understand that some people have a bad taste in their mouth with previous ownership, but it should not be directed to the new people.
