Have lived here almost a year now. I DO NOT plan to resign my lease. Maintence guys are a joke. I went a week without hot water once. They would come to fix it right away. Just every time they said it was fixed, it wasn't. After the thrid day I went back to the office to complain. This was on a Friday evening when I got home from work. When I spoke to the manager she acted as if I was bothering her and it ubsurd for me to be there complaing and actually asked me if I were sure that it wasn't working. All I wanted was to be able to atleast bathe in warm water. ANyways her resolve finally was that I was going to have to wait till Monday, Thats when it really hit me how useless these people are. As others have said I believe they are literally high half the time and are not professional. It's so embarssing to have family or friends over , espically ones with children and have the maintence guys walk or dive by in their little carts yelling obescenties at one another. Don't get me wrong. I am not so nieve as to think that noone cusses however I pay good money to live here and expect more professional and courteious service. They recently started requiring residents to have a parking permint, visitor parking is a bit of a walk but I really dont mind because I can finally park in front of my apt. on a regular basis. Downside is either way I don't feel safe no matter where my car is. Police have been to apt.s close to mine several times within the past few months and I have had several of my neighbors tell me of their vehicles being broken into. Hearing people in the parking lot fightng isin't uncommon. Amd no matter what time of day there are cars flying throught he parking lot with their stereos ungodly loud. I have actually seen the maintence guys wave at some of them one night I suppose I was expecting them to file a complaint or something.. Heh a guy in the next building over just bought a Harley which he apparently feels complled to roast the tires off of in the parking lot on a daily basis. Few days ago while he was in his parking space buring the tires away I watched one of the workers go over to his apt. I was assuimng to tell him to stop but nope. He instead wanted to compliment him on his nice motorcycle. Forget the cloud of white smoke and the noise. May be differnt on the other side of the complex. Either way the wrost thing here I feel is saftey. Just last month people in the apt. 3 doors down from mine were fighthing. Driving all crazy through the parking lot, I have no idea how they didn't hit someone or another car. Anyways finally about four squad cars showed up and it was over but I assumed those people would soon be moving out or rather evicted. Not the case Anyways I could ramble forever about differnt things that have happend here. Bottom line is I do not feel safe here. It's a terrible feeling. I do not even feel as if I can trust the maintence staff. I can not wait to leave here. I would defiantly break my lease I just cant afford to. I guess what I am trying to say is if I wanted to live in the ghetto I would have moved there and saved myself some cash. I do not reccomend moving here.
