i'm writing after having lived at raintree for about a month. i intend to be here for at least a year, maybe two or more, and assuming that i remember to do so, i will write another review on move-out.

so far i couldn't be happier. my apartment is in good condition and is exactly what i need as far as size, etc. the appliances are not exactly new but they are in excellent condition. the apartment was clean and in excellent shape for my move-in. i've had two minor maintenance requests so far (one, the fill valve in my toilet needed replacing; two, my oven wasn't working but it turns out it just needed to be plugged in) and they were both dealt with within 48 hours. the office staff has been VERY helpful and courteous on the instances i've spoken with them. i do not have a problem with noise; i can sometimes tell that my neighbors have their television on, but it's an apartment, and that's a reality. it's not disturbing, and i've never had my sleep interrupted because of noise or anything like that.

the amenities are also excellent. i have a washer/dryer in the apartment, but from what i've seen, the laundry facility is really nice. the pool is also nice, and the gym is awesome. not state-of-the-art, but it's everything i need.

overall, i'd give raintree so far an 8/10 easily, probably a 9/10. hopefully my good experience continues.

Give this place time John and you will hate it. Go to lowe's and get a home mold test kit and conduct your own test and find out that you could be possibly living in toxic mold. The Maintenance staff make a good show at first, but if it is something serious they do not respond well. It took them five months to fix a water leak in my apartment and head of maintanence David Neace did not know there was a differnce between drywall material for bathrooms than normal drywall for the remaining rooms, that showed me that his 15 years of experience as head of maintenance is not very knowledgeable. Watch your belongings there have been reports of theft. You will be Surprised and you will be looking for a new place after 1 year.
