We moved in the spring of 2007. We had negotiated and excellent deal for the 1 bd with den model the week the "new managment" took over. We signed a 2 year lease for $618/ month, water included as well as a covered parking spot w/ storage space. Every few months we would get letters about new fees, or our rent going up and we just kept reminding them we signed a 2 year lease we wont be paying anymore until our lease is up.

We had lots of space and honeslty it was the first place that felt really "homey" There was privacy I loved having the staircase going into the apartment only being used by us. There were tons of birds and beautiful tree outside our window

How ever the electric bills were high, we covered the drafty windows with plastic, the stairs, sidewalks were never treated for ice until about noon...which make getting to work hard. The air conditioner could never keep up and keep the place cool. It also broke repeatedly. They were okay about getting it fixed in a timely fashion, but perhaps the fact I was a craky pregnant woman at the time helped.

The fact they call themselves a luxury apartment is a joke. The workout facility has eguipment form possibly 2 decades ago. When we moved out we discovered part of the floor in our bedroom was rotten and falling apart. The kitchens had nice appliances but needed updated cabinents....they were falling apart. Also by the time we moved our stairs were litteraly falling apart. My husband had to go out and fix them weekly because he was afraid one of us would fall through while carrying the baby.

For us it was a lovely home, but when we discovered our rent would go up $80 , before parking and a water increase we decided it was more economical to buy a house than pay another $150 in rent plus the astronomical utility bills.
