Lived there 2 years - No major complaints

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006
They have recently installed a waterfall and creek that flows into a little pond. Quite nice. They've also recently remodeled the fitness center and put a pool table in the party area in the office. Took the access panel off though, so you can't get in there after hours anymore. :( Got new deck chairs for the pool this year.
The place is about 15 years old now, and starting to show wear. Get new carpet before you move in. Fixtures are starting to rust in the bathrooms, and water heaters and AC is starting to leak. After working in another Apt complex I know how everything starts to fail at this point. The maintenance staff is attentive and does good work, but the office staff has been questionable.
Office staff is just basic staff. The do the job, but nothing extra. They can be absent on the weekends during business hours.
Parking is the worst problem. While you won't be parking on the street, you won't be parking close to your apt after 6pm unless you're close to an end of the complex. But beware the noisy train tracks on one end. One building blocks most of the noise, but I wouldn't want to be in that building!!
It's also a long walk to the trash dumpsters.
I'd recommend the place. The new management is improving things. However they've put up new signs that say 'Luxury Apts', so look for higher rates soon.
