I started out in this place for 6 months (doesn't end until December) and I won't be renewing. My friends live in this apartment complex as well in a different building. They have had water leaking from their ceiling many times and recently it was especially bad - they pressed on the wall and water squirted out. The first time they had leaks they were told by maintenance they would just have to deal with it - so they laid towels out to soak up the water. Eventually word got back to the manager and she did have it fix, but now they have this other problem. If you look at the ceilings you can tell where this is a common problem and the drywall has been soaked through many times before. I think this is also why the air quality seems so terrible. There is likely mold in between the floors - I'm always stuffy inside.

Don't use the after hours service they won't contact them, or if they do the info is ignored.

I witnessed a neighbor be busted for drug charges (I had to air my apartment out several times because it smelled so much like marijuana and NO I didn't say anything to anyone because I was scared of what might happen to me. I just had to open all my windows and air my apartment out). They were not evicted, even though the lease I signed stated you will be if you're caught with drugs in the apartments.

The bottom floors of the apartments are suspiciously unused and completely torn up inside; the doors are missing their locks and they isn't any carpet on the floor. Since they are 'full' on 1 bedrooms, you'd think they would fix these so they could rent them. Since they aren't, I'm assuming something makes them unlivable. One building has the glass broken out of it and ivy is growing into the building. Yes, into. Lord only knows how many bugs and stuff are getting in-especially since most of those doors aren't locked or shut properly.

My windows have no sealing around them. This isn't such a big deal because utilities (heat and air) are included. But it does make a difference that bugs are coming in the window and I keep killing them on my desk.

At least two buildings near me have been without air for most of the summer. Mine went out a few days ago and every time I call they tell me its fixed and just to wait. Right now my apartment is 85 degrees.

I'm not sure if it's the complex's fault or not, but this place also gets power surges pretty regularly. I've never experienced it before in the handful of places I've lived in Lexington. Yesterday one was so hardcore we heard it hit and we almost lost power.

I came here for "cheap" living to get me by for a few months. The truth is the prices aren't that cheap (I was lucky and got a deal and it still isn't worth it). And as terrible as everything is here, I can't even recommend it to you for a short-term stay.

It really is the worst place I have ever lived as well. It only has any positive things on here because "management" (if you can call them that since they manage nothing except to keep it a --------) sneaks on here and writes positive reviews. Nobody who lived there would ever say the bs you read in the positive reviews. Its just absurd.
