I usually don't participate in reviews but this is the end for me. I wish someone had pulled me to the side when they saw me ocming out of the office and told me the truth about this place. I moved in late July and well in to the hot season, and for the rest of the summer was never cooled except in the wee hours of the night when the temp dropped. the boiler chiller system sucks and the thermostat has been rigged to the point where it is installed backwards and you have to put it on 90 to feel some air (not so cool air). we were told that they cleaned the breeze ways regularly but I am still waiting to see this happen. I have had to go out an dclean up when I had company so not to be embarrassed. The trash over flows out of the dumpsters and I never see any maintenance or staff come around and try to improve anything. Management does nothing when the children vandalize and damage the property but they hurry up and put an eviction notice on your door. I have had to call repeatedly to get plumbing issues taken care of with threats of calling the code enforcement which really isn't anything new to them because code enforcement is always here for some reason or another, I wonder why. The staff inthe office lie to get around doing thier job, like filling out work orders. when you go in to follow up on a work order you called about they can't even find them. I can't wait until my lease is up so I can get away from here..............................

My daughter had a horrible experience there, was lied to about her lease, the wrong date was put on purposfully so they could charge her for breaking lease. They actually said she broke a lease and sent her account to a collection agency without informing her that she allegedly owed money. We tried for weeks to talk with ----------------------------------who either lied to us or refused to talk with us. We ended up contacting the Attorney General's office who intervened. Sonnet Cove was forced to return her deposit and withdraw the account from the collection agency. If they did this to my daughter, I have no doubt that they do it on a regular basis with other tenents who don't have any idea that they can fight it. Because I work in the court system and my husband is an attorney, we knew how to pursue the issue in order to get a resolution. I would suggest you contact the Attorney General with your complaints and make attempts to get out of your lease. These are the most unethical, unscrupulous individuals I've ever dealt with, and I've worked with convicted felons for over 20 years!
