I lived at Springhouse Apartments in Lexington, Kentucky in 2003. After visiting the office I agreed to tour the apartment "model". I must warn all prospective apartment renters to ask to see the unit that you will be residing in. The "model" is a euphamism to mislead the renter.

After opening the door to my apartment I wsa flabergasted. It was as if I had been relegated to the "ghetto". I found 2 HotPockets in my oven. My patio was nothing more than a mudpit. I immediately contacted the office. I had just signed the lease---NEVER--- sign a lease before your walk through.

The blonde who had persuaded me to rent the apartment did not possess the same demeanor as the blonde who had originally rented me the apartment. I could not be moved to another unit. I tried to tough it out, but after their maintenance staff entered my apartment and urinated in my toilet without flushing I was devestated. It turned out that the security officer was the blonde's boyfriend and the maintenance supervisor was was her uncle. I left the lease and paid over 1,500.00. The place was absolutely distasteful and asinine. Please, be CAREFUL!!!
