Like many of the other reviewers, I've experienced some of the same problems people have complained about.

I've been here almost 1 year now and I'm definitely not renewing my lease.

My criticisms of Spring House look like things that people having been complaining about forever and have yet to be addressed.

The apartment conditions are nothing to be proud of. The carpet is stained and has cigarette burns. The bathroom was horrendous when I moved in. Definitely not what was seen in the model I was shown.

The attitude of the management here is simply that the apartments are just old and that's how things are. I mean where's the upkeep' A lot of it looks to be spent on the landscaping and gardens around the complex when the buildings themselves need to be worked on.

The interior walkways/stairs within each building are laughable. Every time I walk to my door I'm reminded of how degraded this place really is. Management just slaps a fresh coat of white paint on and lets everything else go.

Noise is another huge factor. It's constantly noisy here. In the parking lot or inside the building there's either loud music or a loud car keeping you up.

Two other interesting things you'll notice after living at Spring House:

One, you'll be very lucky if you find a parking spot close to your building in the evenings. With all the vehicles without parking stickers in front of your building, you'll be walking. And be careful of leaving at ANY time in the night for a snack or anything. Your parking spot WILL be gone when you get back.

Secondly, your running water will probably smell like sewage. It's a fantastic thing to experience when you try to brush your teeth in the mornings.

After saying all of that, I have to at least mention that the management is pretty nice. I've never had problems dealing with them. It's just that they don't seem to really care about how their apartments look, how noisy it is, or that tenants are frustrated.

This is definitely a place you'll want to pass up.

I have lived at Springhouse for 3 years this year. I would agree with some of the items listed "as past issues" but you can see that is changing. My building and the buildings around me have all got new paint and carpeting in the hallways. Really nice colors. The grounds are really clean. I see the maintenance people out front each morning cleaning when I leave for work. My lease is being renewed pretty soon and the management team paid for my carpets to be cleaned and offered to do touch up painting in unit. They ask what they could do for me to make my apartment nice and a good place to live. I think they are trying to make it nice. The lady that took the managers job had a big job to do to turn Springhouse around. Before she came it was getting really bad. Nothing was done! Everyone sees the changes. The water smell, not sure what can be done about that, and your problem with parking. Well we got a carport they really will work with you if you try. We called and went to the office and the manager lady helped us with parking. Really it seems they are trying to make it nicer each day. When you have a mess you can only clean it up a piece at a time.
