So, I wrote a review a while back and now it is gone. I can't fathom why my negative review would be missing, or why there are so few reviews on this site (considering how many people have lived there and the number of them that have had complaints), but I suppose the manager of the complex has the right to remove them at her own volition.

I knew a lot of people that lived at this complex, and a great number of them had complaints. I drove past there the other day on my way to work, and one of the units by the road had caught fire with boards over the windows(another building burned to the ground a while back also--who's next!!!''').

I guess it's sad that to keep it's great rating of 2.5 that most of the reviews have to be removed. Maybe if the real problem with that complex were addressed, there wouldn't be any need for bashing the complex on this site. The apartments there could be really nice, it's just that no one in the office cares about what happens to the people that live there.

It sounds like there was a personal issue between this person and managment because I have lived there for 9 months and have had zero problems with the office staff. I frequently rent movies from the DVD library and everyone is always friendly.

I agree, this must be a personal issue. The fire was because an idiot didn't close the grate on the fireplace and caught the carpet on fire (or something like that); renters take the risk of having stupid neighbors. The office staff has been wonderful and even agreed to put in a garbage disposal in order to keep my fiance and I on the grounds! I really like this complex...so I guess this person had a different type of experience, but mine has been wonderful!

I also agree, maybe this was an personal issue .. The apartments at Steeple Chase are Really, Really Nice. I've lived there for years without any problems. I not sure what issues this person had going on. But, I think that these Apartments are Great!
