I am paying an attorney to get me out of the most unhealthy, hazardous living conditions that I have ever encountered. I had water running into the bedroom from outside, and despite repeated calls and visits to the office, no repairs were done until I threatened getting a lawyer and demanded to speak with the owner of the property. During the same time, my dryer duct was clooged. I reported this, and was told it was fixed. When I looked behind the dryer prior to running it, I found my dryer exhaust tubing stuck into a hole they had cut into the wall to exhaust the lint and damp air into the interior of the wall. This is a very small space which would clog up quickly, and catch fire with no way to freely vent. Also numerous electrical outlets within inches of this hole they chose to put my dryer tubing into. I am having to fight this tooth and nail to just be able to move out of this nightmare without paying tons of money to a place who has no regard for the safety and well-being of the tenants. It's all just about getting their money because you stupidly signed their lease. The office staff, managers, and owners, Infinity, have full knowledge of what has happened in the 3 months that I have rented here, and I am forced to hire an attorney, contact the health department, and contact the local news station to get some light shed upon this place. Next will be the fire department and codes inspectors. How sad that I set this apartment up from out of state, planning on relocating here. I trusted their ad with the stainless steel fridge, and claims of a wonderful living experience. I will pay what I have to in order to make this fraudulent, negligent place known for what it truly is.
