The first impression i recieved is, tha layousts were so, so, the prices were competetive, and the location was convenient. I was naive not to look below the suface. Firstly, the manegment, particulary ----- is extremely unpersonable and unaccomodatable. To put it plainly, management is sooo nice and sweet while showing and giving their sales pitch, but after you're in,... the atificial smiles and curtiosness becomes condensending attitude. Futhermore if you step outside of Stoney Brooke's many ridiculous laws and regulations, they are sure to quickly hurl threats to evict the resident. Example, appearantly it is against the apartments policy to have a grill on you patio, whether you use it or not. I stopped using my grill in the understang that it could potentially be a fire hazard. I covered it with a tarp to show that it was not, and will not be used. Management procceed to threaten serious complications and actions if I did not comply. So i threw my grill away. In seperate incedent, Stoney Brooke had their parking lot paved, and requeste all tenants park as far as a mile away until the constuction is complete; which took roughly 2 months from begining to end. In a nutshell, Stoneybrooke's prioty is profit, and tenant contentess is a issue that is attended to just enough to get by. I would not recomend this apartment even if the renting price was 50% off for an entire years lease.

I agree- Ive had similar experiences with a disorganized and unconcerned staff. However, I will say when I initially moved in the staff was awesome (since then the management has changed). Further, the treadmill has been broken for months- and it still is despite the fact they say it is fixed- its a complete hazard and someone is sure to get hurt!

It is illegal to have grills on porches or patios that are covered. That's not any individual apartment's policy.
