Follow up to cave in: It has been one week since the walkway caved in. The apartments are still "uninhabitable" the tenents still displaced and absolutely no communication from the staff on how or when the repairs will be made.

My husband and I are some of those tenants that have been displaced and we are moving out this weekend to another apartment complex.

I am still here - it collapsed into my doorway. It seems everyone around me has left, and the walkways are still open. I did finally get lights back! I will be moving AS SOON as I can. The electric bills have also skyrocketed, $176 this month (3rd high one in a row). Even though the staff is polite here, things do not get done. There has to be something better - wish me luck in finding it!
