I lived in one of the efficiency/studio apartments here for two years, from 2005-2007. The office staff was terribly rude and were NEVER in the leasing office. However, that was when it was Scottish Links, and I understand it is under new management now.
My apartment itself wasn't too bad, but wasn't great either...the linoleum in the kitchen and bathroom was torn and stained. The carpet was ok, but I never really felt comfortable walking on it barefoot. The walls were beyond paper-thin. I could tell you exactly what my neighbor was watching on tv every day. The water heater would give you enough hot water for a five minute shower if you were REALLY lucky.
My biggest complaint about my experience was my dishwasher. It was broken from day one, and I was only able to convince them to send maintenance once. The man said the motor was burned out and another would have to be ordered. So I waited. And waited. After two weeks went by, I called to see what the problem was. The staff seemed to have no idea what I was talking about, so they said they would send maintenance again. Needless to say, I never saw maintenance again, and gave up on calling about it after six months of trying.
The only other complaint I had was the price. $400 for a studio' Criminal. SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ
