Tates Creek Village looks good on the outside but wait until you go inside. All of the appliances are old except for the fridge. The carpet was not new and barely clean. There was a whole list of things that the maintenance was supposed to fix but they never bothered to fix it. The patio doors never stayed on the door. They were constantly going off track and the maintenance, who supposively are there to fix things, never bothered to fix it. Don?t bother to take your trash out at night because there is no light by the garage bin. During the summer, there were supposed to be two pools. One was closed for basically the whole summer without so much as an explanation.

Our complex went almost 2 days without hot water during the winter. During the ice storm 2003, there was no compensation for the tenants who weren?t able to stay in their apartments. The rent, in full, was still due on the 1st.

The management is horrible. Michelle is the worst property manager I have ever dealt with. She is incompetent,inconsiderate and overall rude. Don?t bother asking her anything. She seems to think it?s a nuisance for her to answer any question that you may have. The little girl who works with her should be the property manager. She seems to know more than her. She is by far nicer than Michelle could ever be. Every time you go to the office, when it ever decides to be open, she is always there to try to help you the best she can.

I would not recommend anyone going to Tates Creek Village. This place is horrible. The parking is absolutely stupid. Don?t waste your money here.
