I have lived here for a year and a half. It is not as bad as all these reviews. I rent a 2 bedroom for 660 with pet rent included. All my utilities are included in that - yes they are ---- about the check being due on the 1st but you sign a contract to that affect so no use in complaining.

Speaking of utilities they have been very good at keeping them running - yes there was the icestorm but what can you do about that. I love my long hot showers - half hour later and the water is still hot (no turning the handle constantly to keep it hot and no running out of hot water).

Parking was bad but they went to a sticker system which has helped greatly - no more problem (except being towed, which i got a rental car towed once and had to pay 60 dollars)

The maintenace guys are very nice and friendly. The thermostat has never worked quite right - but they get it working. They have fixed everything else (except maybe the screen doors which are just a pain in the rear - i think i have finally beat my main one into submission - i took the only one that worked right (from upstairs) and put it downstairs...).

The management... umm yes, can't get around that. Lani is very helpful where she can. She cannot get around AIMCO's rules, but you do sign your contract. Michelle was very nice when we moved in (she was new then) but i think she has had a lot of personal problems.......

9 out of 10 times i go to the office they are not there, but it is useually because they are showing apartments and are back within a few min.

My biggest complaint is that things have generally gone down-hill over the year and a half we have lived here. It seems more trashier, and the volley ball court has been almost dismantled, the tennis courts are in dis-repair, etc... but i think a lot of this is due to the tenants they have had. A lot of younger (read UK students)party-lifestyle crowd are destroying apartments and property.

To sum it up you get what you pay for. Management is not as bad as all these awefull reviews... and i have seen a lot of irrate tenants upset over things that are not the managements fault.
