I moved here in May 2007, and loved it! My maintenance requests were always handled promptly. It was easy to reach the office staff with any concerns I had. Since the new management has started, everything has gone down hill.

They re-paved the parking lots and I got a knock on my door at 7 am telling me to move my car off the lot. Apparently they had put up a sign AFTER I got home from work the day before--I never left my apartment so I hadn't seen it. They recently "upgraded" our kitchen and I was told it would take 5 days. On the 8th day, and 5th call to the manager, we were finally told it was done. The job was poorly done! It looks better than it did, but it was a cheap upgrade! I came home one evening to my door being unlocked (the workers were working in it)...I sat in my apartment without anyone seeing me enter for 2 hours before a worker came back. It made me realize that ANYONE could have been in my apartment that day...not very safe! They just started painting our balconies as well, and it looks trashy. They are making "visual" upgrades but nothing functional--such as fixing electrical plugs, old/torn flooring, etc.

I am not a bitter resident who was evicted, I still live here until my lease is finished. When I first moved here, I wasn't looking for luxury, just a nice comfortable home for the next several years. It is a shame that I am going to have to go elsewhere!

so sorry you have to live with that. it makes you feel unsafe when people can just walk right in to where you live. :( best luck, and i have seen the ugly blue they painted... no thanks.
