I can't imagine having a worse experience at an apartment complex. During my two years there:

-My air conditioning didn't work, and took a week to fix.
-My heating system didn't work, and nearly took a week to fix.
-The electronic lock on my door failed, and I was locked out of my apartment for an entire night as emergency maintenance provided no help.
-My car was broken into, and my rear windshield was shattered, even though it was parked in front of the apartment office in one of the more well-lit areas of the parking lot.
-Pigeons lived on my balcony, despite my best efforts to evict them. They made my balcony uninhabitable, due to the piles of excrement they created.

When I complained about the above problems to management, I was routinely greeted with a response like, "That's just the way life is." Especially when my car was broken into, I vehemently complained and was told, "We can't afford to keep 'round the clock security." Nevermind that they told me that the parking lot was patrolled by a security officer overnight on my tour before I moved in, and I was paying 'round the clock prices.

By the way, parking is terrible--I'm not certain there are enough spots for all the residents. I had to park on the other side of the complex when arriving home late, and parking in front of my building was almost never available at any time of day. Forget about bringing even one vistor--there are about 10 spots sprinkled through the complex of 200 units, and they are always full.

In summation, save yourself the anguish and likely some rent money by going somewhere else, as this place simply isn't worth the trouble.
