Worst Management Ever!! Go with Cravens close to campus

Its been a while since I lived at the complex and one name still makes me mad to this day-The office manager (cant really use the actual name because believe me I would if I knew it would stay posted). She tries to sound like the most important person on the planet and will treat you like a little kid. If you do not renew your lease about six months in advance she sends this letter out saying that your apartment will be shown to new residents-don't think thats exactly legal, but hey shes the manager. I had this annoying alarm going off in my apartment one morning and told her about it and she got mad at me and said I can't tell you when the maintence guy can come!!! Hey thats okay about the alarm because shes the manager. The heating unit in my apartment would never heat above the set temperature and would therefore never shut off. I went and told you know who and she said thats normal but if you want someone can come and look at it. She acted like it I was wasting her time. Her time is probably worth several thousands of dollars an hour because shes the manager. The last thing that really made me furious with the place is the game that they played with my deposit. When I did the walkthrough when moving out the office staff told me I had the cleanest apartment they ever seen but I had to call several times and finally call the accounting department for the company who owns the property and they mailed my deposit back to the office (this was several months later). Guess who I had to hear on the walkie talkie when the girl at the office couldn't find my deposit, the manager. I really truly hope she has left because when you pay that much for an apartment it doesn't matter if you are a 21 year old, you should not be treated like a kid. Near campus go with Cravens, the apartments aren't as nice, but they are cheaper. Also the management follows the golden rule in life, something that University village thinks they don't have to do.
