I moved into University Village in June of this past year and I couldn't be happier. It upsets me to see these bad posts about the office staff because they could't be a nicer group of people. They even helped me move some of my heavier furniture to the third floor when they got off work. They're always courteous and helpful if I ever have a request. The person that posted below said the staff was bad. They also lived there three years ago. The staff that is there now is great and I couldn't ask for more!

It uspets me to see that the office staff has to post reviews in order to bring up the rating of the complex. How can anyone honestly say that the office staff that works there are nice people? Just have a conversation with the british lady and you will see what i mean when she starts screaming at you

Haha, well call up to the office and ask for Jessica and see if I'm working. Also my dad is a real estate lawyer, and a lease is a legal document, so any landlord can take you to court. And if you would read the lease like we did, you would see that it says they can show your apartment off. It's not anyone elses fault that you weren't educated enough to read what you were signing.

Im sorry you misunderstood my point. I know that a lease is a legal document, it has to be in order for an apartment complex to run. Every apartment complex I have lived in since has had the clause about showing off your apartment, whatever. However the point I am trying to make is that the manager there, your bud, hangs those things over the tenants heads and treats the tenants like she is doing them a favor by letting them live there. Why would anybody like being treated like that when they pay top dollar for an apartment? It left a sour taste in my mouth along with other people who I knew lived there at one time or another. Maybe the office staff has a different attitude? I would have to see it to believe it, I hope for your sake that it has (if you are really even a tenant there). Best wishes in getting your deposit back without having to get your dad involved.

They probably helped you move in because you're some hot thing that they wanted a piece of. In my experience the office staff were nothing but a bunch of playboy type jocks, except for the asian guy, and he was just a pill.
