Started out great here. Then the rent increased, the manager left, the maintenance man left. Over the past 3 years there has been almost no maintenance to the buildings and it's been difficult to find the manager in the office, when there even was one. Rates and fees are high - $505 rent $25 -30 for trash, water, etc. 22 renter's insurance = $550 /month for a 1BR; $1200/year extra to have a pet; $1200/year extra for monthly rent instead of a lease, even after the first year; $50 late fee with NO grace period. Heating/air/hot water is all paid by you, it's all electric. Lawn care service arrives late in the day, sometimes just at dark, with their big commercial mowers. Gutters haven't been cleaned for more than three years, so they run over in front of your doorway. You're required to sign a new lease every year or pay the extra fee, and you're now required to show proof of liability insurance. Through-the-wall heat pumps seem to take direction from the outside air instead of inside air, making it difficult to regulate the indoor temperature. I could go on, but instead I'm moving on, as soon as this lease is up.
