Well, me my boyfriend lived here and it was a disater. 1st off they should of told you from the begining that you was going to have to spend $50 a month to park each month. They need to get a garage or somrthing. thats just to much each month just to park. Plus because of that our car got towed and we got tons of tickets to pay. 2nd our apartment got broken into and all of our just was stolen. im talking about computer, tv vcr, dvd, tapes, dvds, alot of expenise stuff, (Im so glad that I know Jesus because he helped us get through it and plus he gave us twice as much as we didi have and better equipment). We both believe that it was maintence because their was evidenve of thier cramp left behind. we didnt even call them and tell them we needed something fixed while we was gone.So i have a strong feeling it was them because they are not working their no more., so just be careful of meeting people. 3rd...the washer and dryer are soo small and the dryer does not work half the time. so we just go on campus and wash our clothes at the laundry mat. 4th..the eleavotrs some times brake down and I HOPE YOU DONT LIVE ON FLOOR 10 OR ABOVE because your going to get some excercise. the only thing that i really liked about the apartments was the view up stairs and the chapel up stairs. If you decide to move in good luck.and another thing i lived in the studio and $435 is not worth it. Plus PLEASE PLEASE dont be late on rent because if you are they charge $5 a day plus after like 2 weeks they charge $120. so yeah your rent can get up to like $770 for a studio. BE CAREFUL.

1st of all...They told you from day one that parking is NOT provided. So parking tickets and towing is not Barrington's responsibility. I do agree, however, that a garage would be a great addition to the property, but downtown property is not easy to come by.I am, however, moving out this month, but I will miss this place.

Having been a former leasing agent I call offer the following about this opinion: The person was not well read in learning about apartment living before jumping. Leasing insurance runs as little as 22 a month from your auto insurer to cover things like theft. Two...It is your responsibility as an adult, to ask questions of the leasing agent, and know your rights ahead of time: Your ignorance is your problem..you wanted someone to hold your hand throughout the process. The first thing they told me was the parking was not included. Not apartment rental is perfect, they hire humans not robots. Dont put shiny pretty things out if you dont want em stolen adn try to arrange your maintenance for when you are home. This should be common sense, but the above opinion disproves that.

"go on campus and wash our clothes" indicates being a student. Given the writing abilities of the person providing this review, this is more detrimental for the institution of higher education that admitted this person than to the apartment community. Wow. The fact that a leasing agent would allow a tenant of this caliber to reside here is enough to keep me from being interested. It is interesting, though, that I have always purchased insurance when it appears that Jesus provides better coverage.
