This apartment complex is very overpriced for what it is. We thought it was a good deal when originally moving in, but soon realized otherwise. It was poorly built and you can hear EVERY move someone makes above you. It was so bad that our dishes shook, and when we complained, we were simply told that they were just walking and there was nothing they could do about that.

The trash situation is absolutely ridiculous!!! There is only 1 dumpster at the very entrance of the building which is bad news for the ppl like me that lived at the back of the complex. People (including myself) began to leave trash sitting out beside their door becuase apparently ICON Properties did not foresee this to be a problem when building Blankenbaker Crossings. Someone decided there was only going to be 1 dumpster at the beginning of the complex, forcing residents to drive their trash down in their car or walk a good distance with garbage a few times a week. And if they caught trash outside your door - $50. I understand ppl not wanting to smell trash or the look of it, but the problem lies wherein there is only 1 dumpster and it has become a HUGE problem with residents, and the thing is, it is an easy fix. The whole situation is quite ridiculous.

It is also ridiculous that Blankenbaker advertises dog friendly , yet up until 1 month ago, there were no doggie deposits, and still they were going to charge people $50 if they didn t pick up after their dog (only to be put where, inside people s apartment where it will stink up the whole apartment') Now there is 1, however it is far from us it would be smart to put one at the beginning and one in the back area of the complex because it seems as though us at the back are being forgotten about

The point is that it is not resident-friendly and, just a shot in the dark but that is probably why Blankenbaker Crossings have many vacant apartments and/or people breaking their lease.

I specifically complained to the Better Business Bureau about -------------- as well... Everything here- completely accurate.
