I lived in this apartment complex for a year and throughout that year we had many maintenance requests that included the leak that the upstairs water heated caused in our ceiling, nasty water backing up into our sinks everytime we used the dishwasher (which took them almost a week to remedy), our refrigerator completely stopped working, and worst of all the bathtub from the apartment above us leaked into our bathroom for six months before it was remedied effectively. The maintenance men would come and patch the ceiling but not fix the leak within days the ceiling was falling in again. Also every time the maintenance employees entered our apartment to fix the ceiling they left a mess in our bathroom and all over our carpet from the bathroom to the front door. The parking situation was horrible with people taking up all of the available parking spaces with cars that sometimes didn't even have license plates and the management did nothing when we complained. I felt that my safety and security were compromised when the lights in our hallway and the lights outside were out and I had to walk through a dark parking lot and then into a pitch black hallway. Every night I was afraid that someone would be waiting to attack me when I went to unlock my door. These lights were out for at least three months and were still out when we vacated the property.
The positive aspects of this experience were that the apartments were very large for the price and pet rents, deposits, etc. were very reasonable. The office staff was polite but very ineffective.
