I read the reviews before moving and figured how bad could it be'' Well, many of the reviews are right. The first month we moved here, the ceiling in the bedroom collapsed from flooding. It took two weeks for the ceiling to be repaired as we came home to a mildew smelling apt everyday. Next the toilet was constantly leaking. BUT that does not compare to the overwhelming noise from neighbors (and the often strong scent of marijuana coming through the vents). The noise, however, is rarely from neighbors' talking or loud music but the incredibly loud creaking from the floor boards that are so bad that it sounds as if the people upstairs may fall through the ceiling as they walk throughout their apartment at ALL hours of the night. We find ourselves sleeping around our neighbor's schedule just to get some rest.

I've lived in what would be considered worse places but this place won the award of my worst apartment experience to date (and when I see places half the price and nicer, I just get more upset).
