I have been living here for almost 2 years. I picked this place because it was cheap, and for that it is good, but past that nothing is worth putting yourself through living in these conditions.
Things are constantly breaking and it takes forever to get fixed... if they even decide to fix it. Many times they'll come in and tell you it works fine.
Parking is only good in the complex across from the office, except when the pool is open. Everyone rushs for those spots so no one else can park. The other parking areas are too tightly spaced that it feels like you're going to hit someone just getting out of your spot. Most people here also don't know how to park and take up multiple spots (Some being the handicap spots) but the office does nothing about it.
The noise level can be quiet at times, but that's if your neighbors aren't making any noise. The walls are so thin you can here almost anything the person next to you is doing.
The grounds here look nice in some areas, but if you walk around you'll easily see that much of this place is neglected. Owners of pets also allow their animals to go to the bathroom anywhere and fail to clean it up dispite the signs posted everywhere stating a fine will be issued if owners fail to clean up after their pets. No fine is ever issued and the problem is never addressed. The garbage has also been an issue for some time now. They only had one garbage when I moved in and it wasn't enough, so they got a few more to place around the complex, but since they were overflowing the apartments got rid of them and are now back to just one which is overflowing past the breaking point.
Safty isn't really too much of an issue outside the apartments, but some of the apartments themselves are so old the locks need to be replaced. Our entire doorknob came off and someone could have easily broken into our place. We had reported this issue before we finished moving into our place and it was about 3 months later that it broke. I would say there are more safty issues with the apartments than there are with the area itself.
Many of the apartments are falling apart. They need to be completely redone instead of just fixed up. The floors are very squeeky on the second and their floors and can easily be hear on the floors below. Most of the appliances in the apartments are old and need to be replaced, but I doubt this place could handle such an expense.
Maintenance is a nightmare. This is speaking highly of them. Nothing gets fixed, it takes forever to get them to come over and even look at the issue, and some times they don't even know what they're doing. They may be good at hiding the problems for when you first move in, but the issues will reappear over time while you're living here. There is nothing good I can say about the maintenance crew that works here. I gave maintenance 1 star only because it couldn't go lower.
The staff here are very friendly, I think this is the only good part of creekside. The staff try to work with you on issues, but they only have the power to write reports or try to find the person needed to be informed about the problem and usually they try to take care of the issue right away, but once it's out of their hands nothing happens.
In order for this place to even get close to good quality they need to start working as a team, focus on the residence living here, fix issues instead of covering them up, redesign the grounds (that's mainly for the parking), and fix the noise issue with the neighbors. If they could work on these simple things the rest would fall into place.
