Friendly office staff - it's not that bad

Creekside is not as bad as everyone is making it seem. Yes the picture of the garbage was accurate, but they had it cleaned up in a few days. I do wish they had more dumpsters, but people kept throwing their trash on the ground instead of inside the dumpster. Parking is adequate, I've never had to park far away from where I live. I just transferred from a 2 bdr, 2 bath to a 3 bdr townhouse. The 2 bdr was extremely noisy and I believe it was just due to thin walls. The townhouse is much better as far as the noise level of neighbors. I had a lot of problems with my unit when I transferred because I was not allowed to see the unit until the day I moved in, but the staff has been very helpful and taken care of my maintenance requests and continue to take care of requests. They were great when I was in the 2 bdr too - I never had to wait a long time to get something fixed, most times they were there the next day or even the same day. Portia, Dana and Debbie have been really great and even apologized for all the problems with the townhouse and that was appreciated! This place is really no worse than other places I have lived and I can even think of a few places that are worse. There is a major cricket problem in the townhouse, but as I have a cat, she takes care of that problem for me. I've lived in places where roaches were all over the place and since I've been here, I've yet to see a single roach which I would hate more than the crickets. The only thing I don't like about this place is that they threaten termination of your lease it seems all the time, even in their newsletter out to people, but that may be a corporate thing. I really do like living here and I like that I'm close to the mall and don't have to drive there if I don't want to. If the staff and maintenance were not so great, then I probably would not like living here as much, but since they have and continue to take care of any issues in a timely manner, I can't fault them at all. Hopefully I won't have an issue when I do choose to move as it seems other people have commented on and they do state in the lease that you need to give a 60 day notice. But I'll most another review whenever I move and let you know if that issue is true or not.
