I've lived at East Chase for a long time. Prior to my current apt., I had a one-bedroom on the other end of the complex. I've watched this place go downhill. From promised amenities that don't quite pan out (it's hit & miss as to whether the pool will be open -- last year only 1 pool was made available to residents even though there are 2 on the grounds & in the promotional material) to increasingly obnoxious, inconsiderate tenants who feel it's their "right" to have loud parties into the wee hours; monopolize the pool area while drinking, smoking & swearing loudly; and make the place unlivable for others. I had a baby recently, & there are days I must park in an area in front of a building I don't live in because our neighbors have friends over who have taken up all the parking spaces or parked their 1 vehicle in multiple spots. This is a pain with a carseat, a baby, & groceries to transport. It's worse in bad weather. As soon as our lease is up, we'll be vacating & won't return.

My kitchen sink was clogged on a Thursday night. I called & left a message for maintenance to fix it on Fri. We got home after hours on Fri. evening to find the sink still clogged, stinky water still standing in the sink. We called the emergency number & were told it was not an emergency. The fact that they had an entire day to fix it when it would NOT have been an emergency was not addressed. It was finally fixed on Saturday afternoon, when I started the dishwasher, & water started leaking into the apartment below us. I was told a plumber would be by to snake the drain (that did happen) & that someone would be by to look at the flooring. (Never happened -- floor in kitchen & cabinets are now buckled.

Thank God we finally have the funds to move. As soon as we find a house, we're gone!
