Luckily for people reading this I can give them a heads up on what is not right here at East Chase Apartments. First of all Wayne, the office associate, failed to mention to me the vast amount of construction to take place before I moved in. Was this legal' Yes it was. Was it ethical' Not at all. I had to suffer through 2 weeks of constant banging, grinding, and hammering from 8AM - 8PM. They resided all the buildings. Here is the kicker they never removed the old wood siding only covered it up with weather wrap and put new siding over it.
Several buildings had the weather wrap tear during some storms and they were NOT replaced and the siding was still put over the siding. The previous siding showed signs of dry rot and trust me it is STILL THERE. If you come here and look at an apartment please ask about this and see if it ever passed metro inspection and demand to see the paperwork.
Another bad thing here is the less than adequate repairs. I had to have my A/C unit fixed. The repair guy told me "It still needs to be fixed more but I rigged it up for now." That was well over a month ago. It works right now but if I was a betting man it's probably a fire hazard.
Other problems. The walls are very thin so if you like to hear your neighbor blink or the every word the person above you has to say then please stay away. Also my neighbors appear not to have a job so that leads me to the conclusion they are either selling drugs or receiving government help which means one thing, section 8. This amazes me because I am a financial adviser the the office staff hounded me to produce my contract from my employer. The apartments are old and enough paint in the unit to probably paint 30 houses.
Do me a favor and don't live here trust me as soon as I leave I really hope their corporate office calls me when I leave this dump because I am not happy about basically being bamboozled. If I could offer one suggestion is to demand to see the unit you will move into this is very key.

Well, I do agree that they are making our homes better but casey259 was moving just before 2 weeks of this construction so Wayne must have told him about all this hassel. You are saying staff is wonderful. I do not agree with that. It is very hard to deal with Wayne ...gosh...always stay in hurry and try to finish the talk without listening you properly. Lendsey is good, but this wayne always put the tenants in the corner and give wrong commitments knowingly or unknowingly. I would recommend all the tenants of this community never deal with Wayne. Above all, these guys never give you your complete security deposit back and when you are inspecting the apartment before taking possesion ..Wayne will always say ...don't see minor minor things...we are 20 years old..so normal wear and tear are there and we do not consider those while returning your security deposit. But, Wayne gives wrong messages ..and they do not return your complete security deposit. I would recommend never stay in East Chase apartment. I am just waiting for my lease up.

As a former tenant, I can say with complete confidence that any positive reviews of this hell hole must be written by staff or staff's friends who have never lived at East Chase.

I would encourage anyone who has a problem with Wayne, to discuss it with Wayne. Perhaps, you just received an answer that was not what you wanted to hear!!
