The most unprofessional management I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with

Wow. Where to begin.

(1) Security. They have had rapes, muggings, robberies and the like. They have never told us unless they were FORCED to tell us (i.e. the media reported on it and they HAD to put out a letter). I'm not saying these things can't happen anywhere... however, you would expect they might warn you so you know! You would expect them to be on your side -- they're not. They're more worried about protecting their precious image. They are dishonest and underhanded.

(2) Management. Don't even get me started on this one! The manager of this complex is 24 and is EVERY BIT of 24!!! She is unprofessional, FAKE and should be somewhere learning how to treat people. I cannot believe that Michelson put her in here. People are leaving this apartment complex like rats off of a burning ship. The building that I am living in is practically a ghost town and I'm in the process of leaving myself.

(3) Amenities. When I moved in here, they had all kinds of different services. They boasted a concierge service. They provided towels, suntan lotion, and bottled water for the pool. After the new company took over, they don't do that anymore. Yet, they want us to pay nearly $1000 a month to live here'

(4) The Pool. The cost to maintain a pool' Not sure. The look on the manager's face when the Health Department shuts it down and she has to tell everyone they have to go home' PRICELESS!!!! (for everything else, there's MasterCard!! ha ha ha) It was unbelievable. They are supposed to have a lifeguard on duty (and they WOULD have had one had they (1) actually paid them; and (2) paid them more than $5 an hour!) But they were opening up the pool anyways -- and trying to cut costs. The health dept. showed and and made her close it down. Now THIS is the good part -- they send out a letter the next day telling everyone that they are closing the pool for a week for "repairs" -- yet there is a BIG RED SIGN on the pool door that says that the pool has been closed by the Health Dept. I guess they think we're all stupid and gullible' No little Miss Management (Gee, did I say "mismanagement"''''') - we're not stupid or gullible and we've got your number! Trying the truth works... how about, "we're closing the pool for a week because we're trying to find a lifeguard who will work for peanuts"'

(5) Apartment Cleanliness, Quality, Safety. Well, not much to say for that. Did you know that my neighbors found an 8 foot long boa constrictor (READ: SNAKE!!!) in their apartment 2 weeks AFTER they'd moved in' It was living behind the stove eating the cat food that was back there. They had a little dog that could have been a snack or that thing could have crawled up in bed with them. Did you know Fenwick did NOTHING''''' No concessions, no nothing. Gee, we're so sorry... do you have the rent check' The apartments themselves are covered with some sort of vinyl siding that comes off every time the wind blows. The wood on the steps and porches is coming up in places, there are nails sticking out. The steps, when it rains, are not properly coated or cared for and you take your life in your hands coming up and down them. About 10 months ago, I feel down the steps while carrying my sleeping child. I reported it and they did nothing to fix the steps. The company who bought this thing around the first of the year was supposed to make all kinds of improvements (HUGE eye roll!!!)... all they've done is improve the rate at which people are moving out!

The only pat on the back I'm willing to give is to their maintenance guy. He's a professional and does the job right the first time (so long as they provide him with what he needs!)

My advice' Run! Run as fast as you can to somewhere else. They will charge you up the wazoo and it really isn't worth it.

***end of rant***

***oops*** they are doing the repairs needed for stairs, and my neighbor did tell me that when the snake was found it was the old management company, we wont mention any names, bedford.. the crime was from the previous owners as well, now we have a courtesy officer that is always out and about...sorry! And the 24 yr old, havent seen her in months!!

Maybe I should bite my tongue too? Nah... my neighbor who had the snake in her apartment was my FRIEND! NO ONE knew about that snake except management and ME. So... NICE TRY, "MANAGEMENT". You're still trying to pretend to be something you're not. The crimes were and ARE continuous. Of course you haven't seen the 24 year old because they finally fired her for embezzeling funds. Your stairs are STILL slick, your roof looks like a patchwork quilt, your siding still blows off with the wind and the only way to improve Fenwick and counter the CHEAP materials that were used to build the cardboard boxes you're trying to rent is to BULLDOZE THEM AND START OVER!!! HANDS DOWN the most poorly built apartments I've ever lived in. SORRY "MISSY". Fenwick is STILL not a good place to live. Oh... and by the way, MEDFORD not BEDFORD was the previous management company.
