Lived here for one year only to be close to the University. The office staff could care less, and the maintenance is very slow. The office staff treats you horrid once you sign the lease. They act as if you are annoying them if you call to fix up a problem. I paid every single time a bill for maintenance!!! Never seen that in any apartment I rented before, when I ask why, Colston will say if you do not pay I will send it for collection!!!Everything was said about Colston owner is true. There are always random weird men lingering around the premises. If you want to feel safe and be able to use your amenities, probably dont wanna move here. It does not has a swimming pool, laundry room or a fittness center. The parking is a pain. Sometimes spending 50-100$ extra a month on a different apartment is worth it!

| Never! I repeat never has Highwood Place Apartments charged for maintenance.All maintenance request are taken care of in a timely fashion. About the statement of random weird men lingering around the premises, i don't believe it.Highwood Place Apartments has a policy of running a criminal background check on all applicants and will not rent to ANYONE convicted of a criminal act. We have never advertized having a swimming pool, or exercise room and all apartments have full size washer dryer connections. Our ammenities are large spacious apartments with well designed floor plans and lots of storage, friendly staff and ALL maintenance request taken care of in a timely manner.Highwood Place has ample parking and charges only $20.00 a month for covered parking should a tenant desire covered parking.
