I first moved to Highwood in 1992 and stayed until 2001 when I moved to Florida and them moved back in here in 2004, when I moved back to Louisville. The apartments are hugh and very economical for the area. I have yet to find a place with as much square footage for the price. The office staff, along with Mr. Colston have always been super and very friendly. Any request that I have made has always been taken care of in a timely manner. The buildings are dated but there is always remodeling going on and the buildings are very safe and very sound. I know of several tennants that have been here for more than 10 years. I think that says something about this small complex. It does not have the amenities that others might have, but then You aren't paying for something that you might not use. There is not a history of continuing to raise the rent everytime you sign a lease. They offer carports for a very nominal fee. I will stay here until I either find a house or die. I love the location. It is 5 minutes to downtown and easy access to anywhere in Louisville and Southern Indiana.
