Jamestown of St.Matthews is a wonderful place to live. It has plenty of parking space and a beautiful pool and a nice workout room. Maintenance repairs things in hours after you call and the management staff is absolutely WONDERFUL! They go that extra mile to accommadate you in anyway that they can. There is plenty of room for walking and to see friendly smiles as you go. It is a great place to make a home no matter how long your stay is. Great lighting so you always feel safe.

Maintenance will not even call you back in a couple of hours let alone show up. I had to call them 3x before they would respond tomy gas leak problem. They are a complete joke. Mgmt is more worried about the office and the horses out front than any repairs needed on the properties. Their billing is absolutely ridiculous. They issue inhouse billing for gas used. They add a whole buildings worth of gas usage up, divide by the number of units and determine who pays what by how many are living in the unit. What a crock. So if you use nothing in gas, you're still screwed. Don't move here. It will be nothing but a headache. the ventilation is awful. If oyur neighbor smokes, you might as well smoke to. Your whole unit will fill up with smoke whenever they decide to light up.

This was probably left by one of the staff members. Of course they're going to make the whole place look great. You can't get anything fixed, like air conditioners, leaks in the walls/ceilings, or anything else that goes wrong in a timely manner. The way gas is billed is ridiculous! With the old management they used to bill individual usage of the gas, but now it's all done by building and divided up by unit by how many bed rooms and how many people live in each unit. I agree with BJS082 with the whole smoking issue. Our neighbors smoke and we don't but we might as well. Our place smells like smoke almost everyday no matter how much air spray we use. I hate this place.

Wow. This apartment has a lot of bad reviews. Thank God people are warning others. I think I'll go someplace else.
