I lived in Jamestown until recently and I wholeheartedly agree with every negative review on this site. My closet doors broken 5 times, even though they tried to fix them 4 times, I finally gave up the last time. Every item they put in the apartment is cheap, I had brand new blinds on my sliding glass door twice and neither set would open more than a foot. I never used my gas heat all winter, relying on space heaters to heat my apartment, but I ended up paying ridiculous amounts for gas because of the way they split up the apartments. The head maintenance guy is incredibly rude, lazy and belittling. I rarely saw him doing work as he was busy riding around in his golf cart, drinking soda and avoiding saying hi to residents. The woman who now works in the office is also rude and really nosy and will prevent you from talking to the manager at all costs. The light in the hallway outside my apartment was either out or dim the whole time I lived there and the man below me smoked, which basically meant that I lived in a smoky apartment because the venting is terrible. The buyout clause in their lease is also ridiculous, charging two months rent to break your lease and if you want to go month-to-month, they charge an extra $100 in rent a month. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!
