I saw that the ratings for Jamestown have gone down, and thought that perhaps a positive review might be good for a change!! This is a very honest review. I love my townhouse in Jamestown. The layout is perfect and the patio is wonderful compared with the tiny balconies and "patios" you get other places in the area. We just had a brand new eight foot privacy fence put in. The office staff is always helpful and polite whenever I have to speak to them, and understanding if you need an extension on rent. We haven't had any issues with parking or noise, the residents all seem to care about their homes as well. Since it is spring it's nice to walk around the complex and see people's flowers they have planted around their doors and the sidewalk.
As for maintinence, the other day I locked myself out of my car and asked for assistance from the nearest maintinence person and they went and found a tool to pop my lock. It's nice to know that the personel will go beyond the call of duty to be of help. I saw in other reviews that maintinence is never around, but every morning i see at least one maintinence man on a golf cart.
One of my favorite little extras is the fact that they have people come by twice a week to pick up kitchen and smaller trash. And the dumpsters are centrally located and are never over filled and easy to pull up to in a car if you have a lot of trash.
Altogether I am enjoying my experience at Jamestown and plan to stay as long as I am in Louisville.

Wow, every other review is bad and then you get two 5.0 ratings on the same day. Who do you think really posted these reviews? Staff maybe.

Yeah i wonder that myself.. Because when i lived there , the maintanance people never fixed anything in my townhouse.

Let's see we were late on opur rent just once and they said there was nothing they could do and threatened eviction after the 5th day. Not too understanding but maybe it's just certain people like their staff they cut breaks to.

The place is a total dump. The office staff is trying to rate it dis honestly, obviously, on the site. Unless you like criminals, bugs and enjoy getting treated unprofessionally..otherwise, runnn from this hell hole-Check out the F rating by the Louisville better Business BureauQ!!!
