We have lived here in 2 bedroom town home for almost 3 years. We plan to stay. Our observations are all positive. Landscaping done regulary, including trees and limbs removed as needed. Rehab as needed. New a/c, new furnace, new toilets during our stay so far. Outside staff polices area for trash including that of irrespsonsible pet owners. I use the resident's laundry weekly without a problem. Today workmen are here to replace a window and a sliding door. I asked for those repairs about 2 weeks ago. Management team regularly sends notices about rent reminders, pet owners' responsibilites and traffic warnings.
I hear neighbors occasionally. There are some junky cars around. But this is not the fault of management.

Pretty sad that the management has to write these reviews to get the overall rating up. Here's a suggestion: try investing your time in improving maintenance and updating the apartments instead of wasting time trying to fool more people into living at your crappy apartment complex.

I am the writer of the above review of the townhouse at Jamestown where I have resided for 2.5 years. My husband and I are very pleased with our rental. The anonymous responder is mistaken.

Moved in recently into a town house, overall I like the place. Furnace filter has not been changed in about 3 months, air conditioning unit too small. Patio screen door is stuck and it looks like someone kicked it in. Furnace too small, I run out of hot water in the shower everyday, and if I use the dish washer at night, the hot water runs out in the morning for sure. Floor squeeks too much on the stairs which I fear will bother the neighbors. I have not been able to sleep because of an irritating barking dog nearly every day from 4:30 am till 7:45 am. Too much garbage all over the place. It seems to me that wherever people are eating fast food they drop their trash. School bus speeds through the property every morning. I have had to go to my front lawn to collect cigaret buts which people have dropped on my lawn, cigaret cartons and candy wrappers. A neighbor moving out left flatened boxes on top of the bushes outside, it rained and consequently his trash wound up on my lawn. There are roaches, mice and spiders in the town home. Two days after I moved in mold reapeared around the bath tub. someone had regrounted over mold. I have complained about the barking dog and I have been told to go out on my patio at 4:30 am to try to hear where the barking is coming from. I of course denied the offer becaus I do not feel safe here. Too bad this is my first month and I have 11 more to go on my lease.
