We lived for 7 Months from Aug to March at Mallard Creek. We liked there for several reasons:
- polite, helpful staff
- well-maintained grounds, quiet place, no noise-makers
- terrific location: Hospital and Malls very close, so many eateries around, our doctors and workplace were nearby
- maintenance was prompt
- price was decent
- parking was gen. not a prob, weekends could get tough at times when people visited.
What we didnt like was:
- lived on the 1st floor so had lot of rolly-pollys(native harmless bug) come in through the floor of the bedroom. They were gone in Winter, but came back in March.
- the guy upstairs was a nuisance, he used stomp while he walks and it woke up our baby. He did laundry at midnight and when we called the cops, he refused to open the door to them :O
- the bathroom in our layout was real tiny you step out of the tub and in 1 step you are at the door (we didnt check this befroe renting, I know)
- the water heater made a big click noise when we turned on hot water, kinda annoying, but is a problem only if u have babies.
- We had stacked W/D in our unit which were small (was okfor us), but I do wish they had larger W/D units in the community laundry.
