I moved in and have lived here for almost a year. It has been hell. Every week something goes wrong in out apartment. We have had three plumbing problems in this very week. Originally we were going to try and stay to deal with these problems. However they are getting to be to much. I am literally counting down the days till our lease is up and we are out of this hell hole.

I have never had a resident who had three plumbing problems in a week! Our renewal rate at McArthur Park is almost 70%. That is exceptional. We are spending a lot of money on the property, and most of the residents really appreciate our care and effort. It seems the only people who write on this site are nay sayers who distort the truth or out and out lie. We take care of our maintenance issues (usually within 24 hours. We do not have a roach or pest problem. We have a contract with OPC, and they spray twice a month. We also do not have extraordinary plumbing problems. Anyone who reads these letters should drive through the property on a weekend night and see how clean and quiet it is here. Walk through one day and talk to the residents to get a true sampling of what people who live here think about our property!

no trust me we had 3 plumbing problems in a week. I doubt you have 70% renewal rate! I have seen people come in go like crazy. I never mentioned a pest problem. But yes there is nats around all the time. If you drive in to the second entrance that is always alot of guys outside drinking listening to music. If you talk to residents they will tell you not to live here! I sometimes waited months for anything to get fixed. I also had to call and harass them to get it done.

i completely agree with the former tenant. I lived in this complex for a year and after the third month was counting down the days until i could move. we have numbers of plumbing problems that never got fixed and I have the documentation to prove it. I even had to call 311 to voice a complaint about the maintenance staff never fixing anything. I had mold growing in my w/d closet and was getting sick over it, only to be told that there was nothing they could do. Oh not to mention them towing my car after never giving me notice that they were going to repave the parking lots. Do NOT trust Angie, she is the worst one. After being the 7th manager we had to deal with, she was nothing but rude and completely unprofessional. Do not be decieved by the outside efforts to make it look nicer. They should really be focusing on fixing the units and getting a better manager to run things. Also they never returned my security deposit either. THIS PLACE IS SHADY!

I agree I know several people that live over there and they had to come stay with me because of plumbing issues at there apt. not to mention all the dog ----;you have to play hopscotch to get to your car. nothing for your kids to do but play in the hallways but they want to get a DOG PARK??!! LOL what a joke

*****DO NOT MOVE HERE AT ALL***** We have had nothing but trouble since we have moved here. They don??t fix anything on time and do not care about the residents they just want your money. Just because they tell you the apartment is a rehab doesn??t mean anything you will still have major issues with them. By suggestion is to run. I will be so glad when my lease is up or I can get out of it. At this point they could keep my security deposit if they let me out of my lease. ******RUN FOR YOUR LIFE DON??T LIVE HERE******
