My boyfriend lived there for 6 years and I lived there for two along with him. The apartment was not painted before his moving in and the carpet was not replaced prior to moving in. There were holes in the walls and doors that never were fixed mostly due to the 10-15 managers who came and went. The latest manager Angie refused to give me the form to fill out giving my months notice. I was told by the maintance men that she had to keep so many apartments filled or she would lose her job. She even did a "mold inspection" but never fixed the molded and mildewed out area under the kitchen sink. When the water heater sprung a leak, they came and insisted that the apartment was filled with nearly two inches of water from the furnace and ripped up the carpet, vaccuumed the water out, put new sealing on the furnace and left fans running. About 10 minutes after they left (this was close to 11pm and I have to be at work at 6am) I had to call them back because it was the water heater. Angie told them that they had to replace it themselves and not hire an emergency plumber. Because of this they were still there close to four in the morning and asked that we not report them since it's illegal for a plumber to not put in a water heater. They came back nearly two weeks later and only tacked a couple of places of the carpet back down without stretching it or replacing any of the padding or the torn parts in the doorway. Also after shutting off the water, the sink in the bathroom was unusable for nearly a month before they finally came back to fix it. For two years the furnace or air conditioning never fully functioned without blowing the breaker and at one inspection after all of this, they replaced the filter in the furnace themselves putting the wrong size in and folding it over. It took my boyfriend and I nearly two days to figure out why it wasn't working at all. The dishwasher never worked the entire time that I lived there and I kept being told that they had to wait to order one. In addition to all of this, the drain spouts from the gutter kept falling out because they wouldn't attach them to the building, then finally when they did attach them to the building there were large gaps left between the pieces causing a lot of noise and water flooding our patio. Also I'm not sure that they ever repaired the fence to the tennis court that was bent completely over one night during strong winds. It took years for them to replace a light in one of the smaller parking lots that I attribute to many cars being broken into. After I moved Angie called and left a voicemail threatening to garnish my wages for two months rent for skipping out on my lease. I called her back and I reminded her that I tried to give notice and that the lease was up, and I told her that I had pictures to prove everything (as I stated above) that was wrong with the apartment but her only reply was that my lawyers could talk to hers and then hung up on me. I called her back saying we must have gotten disconnected and she admitted that she had hung up on me. After that, I received another voicemail about a month later about a stray cat that she thought was mine. Following this, she mailed an empty envelope to our prior address and wrote on it "do not forward, return with current address". She then sent false claims to a collection agency demanding over $1400 who call or mail me something nearly everyday stating that she needs no evidence to her claims.

Good luck with Angie. The first time I met her she warned me that she was a Gemini and that people shouldn't try to cross her. She also told me that she didn't want her employees to have to get out of their chairs (which I could have guessed considering she yelled out from the back office when I walked in and waited for someone to help me) so they wouldn't make photocopies of my money orders for rent. The very next month they said I had paid $3 less than the rent. Lucky for me I had the signed and dated photocopy of the money order.

I currently live there and thats because I just moved in last year and was too tired to move agian this summer. We had so many problems with Angie too. Including them try to charge us for a grill we never had. When in fact it was our neighbors! Thanks for the review. I can't wait to be free of the apartment complex come next summer.

I never knew about the maintenance issues to which this person refers. Those were before my time. However, this person skipped without notice and left the apartment filthy and in very poor condition. There was also pet damage. No pets were supposed to be in the apartment. I followed my company's policies, and I was always polite to these residents.

It seems like no one likes Angie because she's rude to everyone. Several times she's threatened charges against me or one of my neighbors from different things, and once from when someone moving out left old furniture in the hallway!!! I can't wait to get out of there either!!!!!
