I lived in a Pinehurst townhouse for one year, and there were many problems. First, none of the windows in my townhouse would open. I was told that there was no money to fix this problem. Second, there was no heat or air conditioning upstairs. Management kept telling me there was no way to keep the upstairs cool during the summer, and just use a fan to blow the cool air upstairs. I now live in a great townhouse where the upstairs is always cool (if not cold) during the summer months. They did try to fix the heat many times, but were never successful. Third, many of the people living in other apartments and townhouses are awful. They made so much noise that it can be difficult to sleep. I could clearly hear my neighbor's television and stereo at all hours of the day and night. My neighbors would scream at each other all the time, usually at 3:00am. When I reported the noise to management they would send out a letter to the noisy people, but not do anything else. They claimed to have a policy of three noise reports and the tenant is out, but never followed up on that. In general, management really did not care that the noise was disturbing others. There were scary-looking people hanging around in the parking lot at all hours of the day drinking and smoking. You did not feel safe walking from your car to your apartment.

The townhouse itself was fine and comes with a fenced in patio that was really nice. I enjoyed the contests held during holidays where tenants can decorate their yards or patios and win cash prizes. Also, tenants could win prizes for paying their rent before the 1st of the month. If only the management would fix things, and keep the unpleasant people out, this could be a nice place.

I AM A RESIDENT RIGHT NOW AT PINEHURST AND I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE REVIEW THAT I JUST READ. I ALSO THINK THAT THE ON GUARD POLICE IS NOT HELPFUL HE DOES NOT ANSWER YOUR CALL WHEN YOU CALL NOR DOES THE OFFICE STAFF. THEY ACT LIKE YOU ARE BOTHERING THEM WHEN ASKING A QUESTION OR TRYING TO GET SOMETHING FIXED. I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR QUITE A LONG TIME AND AS LONG AS I HAVE LIVED HERE THINGS HAVE NOT BEEN GOOD. IF SOMEONE WAS TO ASK ME IF LIVING AT PINEHURST IS GOOD I WOULD PLAN OUT TELL THEM "NO".... PARKING IS TERRIBLE, POOR MANAGEMENT,NOTHING GETS FIXED,APARTMENTS ARE NOT UP TO DATE, TO MANY UNKNOWN PEOPLE WALKING LATE HOURS,MUGINGS, DRINKING, EVEN RAPING WOMEN, AND THE PEOPLE THAT DO IT DO NOT LIVE HERE. NEWS LETTERS ABOUT THINGS THAT HAVE HAPPEND IN OUR AREA DO NOT COME OUT TO LET PEOPLE KNOW WHATS GOING ON. I HAD TO HEAR ABOUT THE RAPING ON THE NEWS. IT'S JUST AWFUL AND IF I HAD THE MONEY I WOULD MOVE TODAY. I JUST FEEL LIKE WE PAY RENT FOR NOTHING. I FEEL SORRY FOR RESIDENTS THAT LIVE HERE BECAUSE, EVERYBODY IS TREATED THIS WAY AND IF NOTHING IS DONE ABOUT THIS THEN I FEEL THAT PEOPLE ARE GONNA START TO TAKE ACTION AND MAKE SOMETHING HAPPEN. I HAVE ALOT OF RESIDENTS THAT WILL BACK ME UP ON THESE SITUATIONS AGAIN IT'S AWFUL.

yes it is i have work orders that need to be fixed and i live in a townhouse too this place sucks big time and i'v been here sences 2003 and i have a lease here untill 2006 at the end of 2006 i would not let my mother live here its that bad you can not get any thing done here and whenyou call to put in a work order will your jsut wasting you time it takesd them to lon git not far to use we pay rent not them and i pay 625.00 amonth for what nothing i really thank we all need to keep are rent money untill they fix the proublems out here and get all the work order down and UPGRADE people up GRADE this duck i was liveing at lake in the woods apartment and i feel like i'm back there again this suck pinehurst is a one big trash can thanks ps to pinehurst clean up this ---- and soem of the people that live here we do not need drug user here saleing that ---- to are kids and you all need to get a police officer in here that will drive or walk around the apoartment s just so we will be safe i have trouble sleeping at night nwo sence i'm in a townhouse i'm just afraid of some one brakeing in FIX THE PROUBLEMS PEOPLE !!!

I am the person who wrote the original"Don't Move Here" review. I hope unsatisfiedtenant3 & markb40291 are no longer living in this dump. Driving past this place I can see that it is still a dump that management refuses to care about. I can see that the windows in my old townhouse (that would never open) were never replaced. I can't believe the rent that people pay to live in Dumphurst.There are so many better places just down the road where you can live in a nice, safe apartment/townhouse.
