I have lived in Plainview for a year now. I originally moved in becuase of the location. The utilities bill is a joke. They will charge your gas and water according to the square footage of your apartment. Is that really fair if you are wise about your usage' Also, we live right by the tennis courts and there are kids yelling and playing at 1 am! That should not be allowed. There are people that sit in our hall way smoking cigars, sometimes urinating and you can really smell it. If our next door neighbor are smokers you can really smell it as well. There are just shady people around here, you don't even know if they live here or if they just come in to cause troubles.I never feel safe walking in by myself late at night- my husband has to walk me in. My porch is about to fall apart and the paint is chipping. Try to find some place else to live becuase I am.

I have been a resident since Dec 06. Apartment living isn't for everyone. You have to be tolerent of your neighbors and they of you. You also have to learn when to contact the Property, if you experience issues and incidents as this reviewer reports. But the reviewer fails to mention contacting the property. I live in a building that has gentle elderly man that sits in front and smoke cigars or pipe. Our hallways fill up with the smell of "sunday dinner" almost every night. Someone sure knows how to cook. So I suggest to the reviewer, contact the property if a resolution can't be found, ask them to move you to another building. Document these requests. I have found the staff professional and willing to help resolve issues.
