I got flooded out of my apartment the friday the storms hit. I was terrified. I called the emergancy maintence but got no response. All of the first floors in my building got flooded. I was out of my apt for ONE FULL WEEK!! I spoke with the company who was replacing the carpet and they advised me to request to be transfered to a different floor and building because it was a health hazard. I didnt have anywhere to live! I went to the office and spoke with them and they got very rude and mean with me! As if I flooded the complex! After making me resign a 12 month lease I got my new apt on the 3rd floor. Well, imagine my disgust when I receive a notice on my door saying that I will be evicted from the apartments because it was the 3rd and my rent was late....wait a second! I was out of a house for a week with no money! no house! I was living in my car! They even told me that as long as I resigned the lease I wouldnt have to pay until November! I am calling the Louisville Legal Tenants Assc to see what my legal rights are. These people are theifs! Liars! And Scammers! I do not understand, your apartment got flooded, by rain, and it is the offices fault?!? Regent Park has its problems,I hate the hallways, but one has to be realistic. I know a person who died in the flood and you are complaining about not getting free rent. You need to grow up!

you don't havata explain nothing, joshgirl. you don't like the place, you have every right to say you don't. i know i hate these apartments worse then any in louisville, and the management are the stupidest bunch ever. they should all be fired!

Yeah it is the offices fault! Tell me where you see a drain where the water could have gone to! And as sorry as I am about the people who died this is my situation. I shouldnt have to pay rent for something that could have been prevented by drains. And if all I had to complain about was a dirty hallway I wouldnt have to write anything about them! So why dont you live on the bottom floor and have your apartment flood and destroy all of your furniture. Ofcourse you wouldnt because than you will have to stick your foot in your mouth wont ya? So you grow up!

i heard that the pumps undr this pit havent worked in years, thats y its their fault. no working pumps means no water leaving. the mold will take over try complaining to the local medias, action news, that kinda crap when the guys in 3-1 got the health dept involved with their mold problems, i believe they also had a lawyer helpin out call the main head office in chicago and complain 312 867 3840 we have to do something this place is falling apart

i know what u mean... i signed a lease with them for a year exactly one year ago. i gave them my notice i was leaving and they told me that they had to add another month to the lease (which i had already moved out and living in my other apartment for 2 months) proper notice and i still got a bad deal. now i have to wait two months for my deposit back. My adivce to u is move out quickly!! get health ppl involved. talk to media.. ppl who say they love it there... most the time are new...or they live far back in the complex... or are rich...or suck up to managment... and dont write saying that what i said is untrue because its no sercet...
