Horrible Place To Live

My husband and I moved there as soon as we got married because it was cheap... and cheap is definitely the right word for it.
As soon as our lease was up, we moved.
The management people were always rude. They never spoke kindly, even when we were first checking the place out (which I guess should have kept us from moving there).
One time, they called my husband and told us to empty and shut off our fridge completely because we were getting a new one, so we emptied it all and my husband stayed home the entire day waiting for someone to drop by. Well, the milk spoiled, some of the food had to be thrown out, and 10 months later, we never got a new refridgerator and no one had ever bothered to call us and apologize or even explain what happened.
Nothing ever got fixed there either. A window that was reported broken months upon months ago had just recently been fixed the week we moved out, which apparently, they're going to charge us for since it was so close to our move out date when they fixed it.
Some electrical sockets blew out on us, the kitchen sink leaked from the faucet as well as the piping underneath, the bottom of the bath tub was forever covered with dirt (from the first day we moved in)...
And like I said, the sinks didn't work. One of them, in the half bath, we never used because it never completely turned off, and when you tried to turn it on, it blew BROWN WATER out.
We never actually drank the water there because it never seemed as clean as it should have, even from the kitchen sink.
People would play loud music well into the night--once until 2 or 3 AM. Now, my husband and I are both under 22, but playing music THAT loud THAT late is just ridiculous!
Oh and did I mention the mice'!'
Every single night, we heard them crawling in the walls and in the ceiling, and nothing was EVER done about them.
Ah, and the rape case. Yes, that's right. A 12-yr-old girl got raped by our dumpster, and even though the management promised that a police officer would permanently stay on patrol there, he left after maybe 2 days and that was it.
My building constantly smelled like marajuana, cigarettes, and alcohol too.
If we had had the money to break the lease and move out after we realized how horrible it was, we would have gladly.
We're now living in a much nicer place, without all the problems River Hill gave us. Thank God for that!
I'm telling you, don't move there. If you have any sort of decency, you'll know to stay away from River Hill. There are better places to live than one from Lafayette Enterprises!
