Getting Better

I have lived at River Oak Apartment for five years now. We have went thru some pretty crappy management throughout this time. I went thru 3 years with disgusting carpet due to water leakage. I only stayed here because of the inconvenience of moving, and the location is great for me getting to work. Finally after 3 years of hell the apartment have been purchased by new owners, who are trying their hardest to get it back into the condition it should be in. My carpet was changed as soon as they got here. I see every day new major projects starting here and I am beginning to really look forward to being here once again. There is a lot of work to be done because the previous owners and management let this place go. Truly this is a beautiful complex to be in , surrounded by trees and only minutes from downtown. It does need some work, but our new staff is right on top of it. As far as noise is concerned, all levels have concrete floors which is the best noise reducer.

wow, its nice to see the new management has nothing better to do than post on apartment ratings. How about actually doing some work?

No actually I am not with management. Ive lived here for over 5 years and if you search for my other entries you will see that I was completely dissatisfied. Anyways things did appear to be getting better but unfortunately there still is not enough mantainance for the size of complex so getting things fixed can be hard. You must be very aggressive ( call everyday for weeks) Anyways I had several things wrong in my apartment that took a long time to get fixed, ( partly my fault because my dog is intimidating, and I don't like to lock him in the room all day). Anyways once I got on top of things and decided to keep him in the room I had all of my issues fixed in a few days time. It probably would have been fixed sooner. No matter what, I still call this place home and the new management is sooo much better than the last queer that we had working here. No offense to --- people but the guy was a true jerk and hated women, but acted like one.
