I lived in river oak for 3 years. When I moved in they had not even cleaned, painted, or replaced the carpet, which where all damaged due to the fact they never locked up my unit while it was vacant. I moved out yesterday and I left the place spotless other than the carpet.....which was damaged when I moved in. They brought me into the office and come to find out they lost my walk through paper with all the damage listed on it....had no copy of my lease....and can not find record of my security deposit so of course now they want me to pay for their damage' Well on top of that the termite damage is out of control but when you ask them about the sinking cabinets they say it's "water damage" to an area that's not even below the faucet''' If you are on a budget and would like to save on heat and air you might want to find a place that doesn't get ice on the inside of the windows during the winter, and brown the blinds because of the heat in the summer, much like...river oak. If you don't beleive me do a walk through of apt. 1201 and notice that they had to replace the blinds, and window which cracked from the intense heat. And if you happen to be a single female like myself and if you would like to have a parking lot light working while you come or go in the dark....don't rent here. Because of the lack of lighting in 2004 they had a group of kids go through the entire parking lot and spray paint the cars white. If you want a place to call home and not a place to call dump I would deffinetly find another place!!
