When I moved to Louisville a year ago, Shadow Ridge was very highly recommended to me. I was told by a friend who lives here that I needed to live on the east end of Louisville and this was the place to be if I did. I'm glad that I listened to his advise because I have loved it here and just renewed my lease for another year. He told me that living here wasn't like living in most apartments but more like owning your own condo. The lawn is beautiful, and I love having a gym right here to use whenever I want to. I painted my apartment when I moved in and that really makes my place feel like home. I even had the office staff help me pick out my paint colors while I went and looked at my new apartment for the first time. Being new to the city, it was hard to adjust to what life in Kentucky would be like. I got a packet when I moved in telling me what attractions are in the area, what restaurants and shops, they even told me what radio station down here was like the one I was used to back home. I remember being told that if I had a problem at any time to come in to the office and talk about it. Sara, Alexis and Carrie seemed genuinely interested when I came in with a concern and took care of the problem that day. Where else can you live where the maintenance team will hook up your washer/dryer for you and help hang a piture on the wall while they are there' I have told everyone that I work with that they need to live at Shadow Ridge.
