I moved here from across the way at Summit Place Apartments,it was a MUCH NICER PLACE, my neighbors are the most loudest, inconsiderate people I have ever lived next to the people above me sound like elephants walking around. When I moved into my apartment the carpet was NOT clean, it should have been replaced, I moved here because the rent was cheaper, but without the discount its only a few dollars cheaper and this apartment is NO where near as nice. The advertisement states fans in the rooms, I had to put my own ceiling fans up...The neighbors leave trash outside on top of the cars, they slam the doors all times of night, I have had a rock thrown at my bedroom window. I feel like what im paying is entirely too much...yea they keep the grounds up and the OUTSIDE looks nice these hallways look HORRIBLE, they clean the carpet out there and don open the door to let it dry and it smells like mold, that wall paper on the hallways walls look like something from the 60's....945 for a two bedroom, I paid 1050 for a loft...not much of a difference, I feel as if I was decieved, I wish I could move now...

This is definately written by Summit Place. No one mentions the whole name and location of thier apartment in thier review. I have been at Shadow Ridge for 3 years and love it here.

Why would anyone pay $1,000 for a loft?

Sure the staff is great, we have lived here for 3 years and they constantly raise the rent. These apts. are old,out dated kitchen & bath cabnites, the carpet needs replacing, the flooring in the kitchen & bath needs updating it's impossable to keep them clean. There is dust constantly, we have to dust at least 5 days a week. What I really hate is that you have to purchase your own ceiling fixtures or ceiling fans and they have the nerve to rise the rent. These apts. are not worth paying over a $1,000 a month. There are no really great apts. in Louisville. You pay so much to live in these places and you get so little in return. It's not fair. The cost of living has incresed but our income has decresed. With so many people losing their job or have to take a pay cut, makes it even more difficult. Constantly raising the rent only make things worse because you can no longer pay what they are asking & you have to move some place more affordable. These apt. owner's are really greedy people, only looking out for themself. They can care less about what we want.
